No support is available for the Greenbone Enterprise TRIAL by default.

Access to the Greenbone Enterprise Support is only available for owners of a Greenbone Enterprise Feed subscription key.

The commercial Greenbone Enterprise Appliance can be updated seamlessly and includes access to the Greenbone Enterprise Feed.

Feed updates are available on a regular basis, but the Greenbone Enterprise TRIAL itself cannot be updated.A subscription key for the Greenbone Enterprise Feed can be requested here. By default, the Greenbone Enterprise TRIAL uses the Greenbone Community Feed instead of the more comprehensive Greenbone Enterprise Feed.The Greenbone Enterprise TRIAL serves as a quick and easy testing tool for the Greenbone Enterprise Appliances on Microsoft Windows, Linux and macOS.

In Workstation Pro: select the appliance in the list and click Power on this virtual machine.

In Workstation Player: select the appliance in the list and click Play virtual machine.

When the appliance has been imported, it will appear in the left column in Workstation Player/Workstation Pro.

Select the OVA file of the appliance in the file system.

In Workstation Pro: Select File > Open… in the menu bar or click Open a Virtual Machine in the Home area.

In Workstation Player: Select Player > File > Open… in the menu bar or click Open a Virtual Machine in the Home area.

Start Workstation Player/Workstation Pro.

Download and install VMware Workstation Player or Workstation Pro for the operating system used.

Download the OVA file of the Greenbone Enterprise TRIAL.

Note: With default settings, the Greenbone Enterprise TRIAL uses bridged networking and expects an IP address from a DHCP server.
